Dispatch No. 01 - Bottled Tides

While creating this month's print, I found myself thinking about the many warm summer evenings spent walking along the shore, watching the days trickle by like soft sand through my hands. Thinking about how quickly life can change, I wanted this dispatch to capture the quiet feeling of sending something fragile out into the world, the feeling of folding a small note into a bottle and trusting the tide to carry it somewhere gentle.

Monthly Correspondence is an ongoing seasonal mail subscription from Salt Child Post, a quiet collection of illustrated correspondence inspired by coastal folklore, shifting tides, harbor lanterns, drifting objects, and life near the sea.

Each month, a new dispatch leaves the post house in Saltmere, thoughtfully assembled by hand for Tidekeepers near and far. Every editiion explores a different seasonal theme and is designed to feel like a small piece of correspondence carried in from the coast.

Inside each Monthly Dispatch, you may find:
